Port of Calvi

Ferry Routes and Cruises
(Calvi, Corsica, France)

The port of Calvi offers limited ferry routes, all of which are provided by either Corsica Ferries or SNCM Ferries. Corsica Ferries operates two services to the southern French port of Nice, while SNCM Ferries operates crossings to the French ports of Nice and Marseille.

Calvi to Nice

The southern French port of Nice provides the most popular point of departure for visitors to Corsica. Corsica Ferries and SNCM Ferries both offer a fast service on this route, which is in operation throughout the year; the journey time is around 3 hours.

Corsica Ferries also provides a slower service aimed at passengers travelling with vehicles, with the crossing time on this service being around 5 hours, 30 minutes. The port of Nice is one of the busiest ports in the region, with crossings to Corsica attracting around 750,000 passengers a year and the quality of the port's facilities reflecting this large amount of traffic.

Calvi to Marseille

The only crossing on this route is an overnight service run by SNCM Ferries, with the crossing taking around 11 hours, 30 minutes. This service is in operation throughout the year. Marseille is a busy and modern port with several terminals handling services to destinations throughout the Mediterranean Sea, with the recently refurbished Terminal Two handling services to Calvi.
